First, please watch the TED video and listen to the Latitudes program (only first 10 minutes) posted below.How does food get to you? You should have the ingredients of a single meal you consumed this week in your notes. Locate the origins of each ingredient as best you can. Now draw a map (or find one online that you can use) and identify the locations of the origin of your dinner. Your map then should list each ingredient (Idaho potato, beef from Iowa, etc.) and show its place or origin. Please bring this map to class with you.
